Been busy...
This is a catch up for those that have not heard from me...(Becky, I've been meaning to call but life's been hectic.) Got a job at a club on the west side, the same night I started I got a call for a 9 to 5 on 32nd and Rock. I did two nights at the club and called it quits, really it was fantastic being able to take shots bought for me by the customers but I can't stand annoying people. Most irritating are the drunk ass 40 something females trying to convince me that I should hook up with their brother/cousin/friend who happens to love Asians. Woohoo!
Anyway, my other job involves a lot of data entry which is more relaxing for me. Less human interaction and more face time with a computer. My kind of scene. Our current project is billing for FEMA and Red Cross, entering bills sent by hotels all around the country where evacuees from the last hurricane season still reside. Yesterday I cut a check for over $600 thousand for one hotel. It's a lot easier to see that most of the money being sent out are from the taxes we pay out, and it's easy to get irked, but realize this is tax we have to pay anyway, and money we've been doing without, and that most of these evacuees spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the coming new year away from loved ones and the comforts of home, it gets sad. Eight hours of entering gives me plenty of time to reflect.
Getting away from the sentimental, I am grateful I found this job, even though I have to wear dress pants to work everyday, I have a steady schedule, which I've gotten the last Monday and the next Monday off for holiday, great pay - so important, and I do something I not only enjoy doing but love to do. As well, less irritation at work, which after my last job is a huge blessing.
Anyway, I do have a call list at hand which I will utilize soon. I promise.

Just a quick check in...
Had to fix everything up... I had to let the hosting expire since I am broke and unemployed, but took awhile to realize the name was already paid for (coz I'm an idiot.) Re-adjusted everything took the password protect off, there was really no use, and I'm back in business. Not as much, I'm off to buy chocolate milk before I pick Logan up from school. So, until next week, or month or year!
